Check out the release of our 4 new styles of light up shoes
Not only have we released four new styles over the course of a month, we've also included new LED strips in these shoes which have three extra modes. As per usual there are the 7 static colour settings (green, blue, red, purple, turquoise, yellow and white) followed by a new strobe mode, and then two new colour-cycling modes in addition to the original colour-cycling mode. One of these cycles quicker and the other cycles slower.
Gold light up shoes have been hugely anticipated following the massive success of our Silver Editions. These were released in collaboration with Cirque du Soul and the namesake El Dorado Festival. In keeping with the legendary Lost City of Gold, and its inhabitants, the Muisca Tribe, we've lined the inside of the shoes with tribal patterns that the ancient civilization used as their language.
If you visit the product page and navigate down to the 360 degree spin image you will be able to zoom in on the Muisca patterns that we printed into the shoe.
We thought we'd have a bit of change when we designed these two. We'd wanted to bring out iridescent silver shoes for a while but felt that they were too similar to our Silver Editions that we released back in December. As a result we had been searching for a new light up shoe that we could do an iridescent 'upper' with. A few months ago, with festival season fast approaching we decided to mix things up a bit and go down the colourful route (completely out of character for our black and white brand!). However, instead of just one, we decided to bring out two pairs: Pink and Blue.
Before releasing them online we put them on show at the El Dorado festival in order to get some feedback and see what people thought of our outrageous shoes. Fortunately the response was overwhelmingly positive, with quite a few people purchasing to wear at the festival that weekend.

4. The White High Tops
As a guy these have got to be my favourite. As part of the BEAM Team I got special access to the branded prototypes. After inspecting them and getting some photos I wore them out for the entirety of a festival we went to. I have to say they are probably the comfiest shoes I own, mainly due to the super-padded insole which was extremely cushioning. They were ideal for taking the pressure of my feet over the weekend when walking around the site and also whilst jumping around in the dance tents. The high ankle of the shoe also means small puddles aren't a worry (although try not to get them wet), and I think this has made them more sturdy in general. They were able to take a lot of beating and still make it out the other side after a three-day festival. The high tops also include the new LEDs modes (strobe and two other colour-cycles), which were great fun, and kind of trippy too.
